SOURCE: How do I set the time and date?
You must be on the main phone on jack 01 to set time. You can determine if your phone is jack 01 by pressing PROGRAM and then pushing the number 6 on the dial pad. The phone will read the jack and extension number. When you have determined the jack 01 phone, do the following. 1. Push PROGRAM key 2. Dial "0" 3. Enter year (last 2 digits) 4. Enter month (01-12) 5. Enter day (01-31) 6. Enter day of week (Sun 0, Mon 1, Tue 2, Wed 3, Thu 4, Fri 5, Sat 6.) 7. Enter Hour (01-12) 8. Enter Minute (00-59) 9. Press 0 for AM 1 for PM 10. Press "AUTO DIAL/STORE" key 11. Push PROGRAM key to return to normal mode.

If it is displaying "101:" that is your extension. You can press the * key (with phone on the hook) to scroll your display through date and time formats and to display your extension.
When it says "PITS-PGM NO" you will need to press one of the buttons on the numerical key pad to choose a function to change.
Hope this helps!

With the phone idle, you keep pressint the * (or the TRANSFER key) until what you want is on the display. It uses one or the other key because the 77xx phone works on more than one system.

This worked on mine:
Press Program, then 0
Make note of the numbers on the display (should read something like 100514 5 12:30PM).
Enter two digits for each in this order year month day.
Enter the same number that appeared on your display between the date and the time.
Enter the time.
Enter 0 for AM, 1 for PM
Press Store (phone should beep twice)
