I am trying to project the picture from my television to my litePro. I only have the red, white yellow cables. I put them on video/audio out from my tv to video/audio in on hte litepro. I then press source and the sounds come out of the litepro but not the picture. It says no signal. What am I doing wrong? Shoudl I buy an S video cable? I was going to try it on my other tv but it only has video in, not out.

Re: can project tv screen on litepro
Check the "Default Source" using the remote or buttons on top of the projector.
Default Source toggles among Computer 1 analog, Computer 1 digital, Computer 2, and Video. This determines which source the projector checks first for active video during power-up. Highlight Default Source and click the left or right mouse button to toggle among the options.

. Try putting you tv set to channel 3 or 4. Try your tv in all modes. Check the back also to see if in the right spots with the wires. Check your channel scan status, try it on anntena and try it on cable, run channel scan on both. good luck. Try vcr wires if cable wires dont work. vcr wires are yellow red and white. Try another cable cord sometimes they get old. Try looking at your remote and setting it to tv.
do you have the orginal remote that has device button on it such as tv,dvd,av1,av2 or a input button on it if so play around with it such as when the blue screen comes on press the tv button or even better if you have cable box with the red, white and yellow plug in the back just plug the red, white, yellow cable from your cable box to the red, white and yellow into
the input of the tv
check the video connection that is connected to the tv. If you are using RCA style plugs (red, white, and yellow) you can try swapping the colors around (put the red in the white, the yellow in the red, and the white in the yellow on the tv and your other device....cable box, vcr, dvd, etc.) this is a great way to test the cable you are using to send video to the tv. it might just be the cable!
