You surely can but it would be advisable to download the Vista Compatibly adviser so that after running it it will inform u if every thing in you system will work or not. This is critical since u cannot add any driver software for the accessories if they are not vista compliant. This download is available at microsoft site...........sodeep

I have a QMAX ADM 3000+ motherboard Model LC-B350TX. Can I use this with Windows 7 Home Addition?

Hello this mainboard should match:

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=1139&CategoryID=1&MenuID=19&LanID=0

A 32 bit windows will probably run fine on this.

You can use this software to find more detailed info:

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

It could also be this mainboard:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K8MM-V.html#/?div=Driver&os=Vista%2032

Here is only drivers for vista but some times it will run on win 7.

Check for the mainboard number it should be stamped in near the pci socket or the ram

Good luck

MSI MS-7255 mainboard is compatible with windows 7?

Yes, you shouldn't have any probs with 32bit Winows 7. Works well under Vista and Windows 7 uses drivers based on Vista drivers.Don't know about 64bit version.

My PC keeps getting stuck!

It could be that 1GB of Ram is not enough to run Vista, I had vista once on 1GB of RAM and the computer went so slow I couldn't work or do anything with it.
What I did was, format the computer (after backing up all the necessary data) and install Windows XP, its the best operation system until now, until Windows 7 Comes out!
Either Install Windows XP, or get your computer one more GB of RAM or more.

Maximum RAM not achiveable for KT4V

What Operating System and revision are you running?
I don't believe that XP 32bit (not sure about 64) will recognize 3GB of RAM, but Vista will as long as your MoBo (Mother Board) supports it or possibly even more than.
My Asus MoBo will utilize 4GB but Vista 32bit will only utilize 3.48GB or so, and Vista 64bit will take up to 8GB if the MoBo will.
Let us know what O.S. you're running?

Vista driver

you will need to find the manufacturer of your sound chip eg Realtek and then go to their relevant site for drivers if supported, although it may not be as there would have been drivers within the Vista Operatring system installation.
