Question about Canon PowerShot SX100 IS Digital Camera
I have a lapel mic that i want to use to record videos and have a decent sounding mic. instead of the built in mic. the camera has a 3.5 mm a/v/ out jack. im not sure what to do or what options to enable/disable
The A/V out jack is for output from the camera, not input to the camera. The camera has no way to accept sound from another device. You can record onto another device and then combine the soundtracks using video editing software on a computer, or even completely replace the camera's audio track. However this has to be done on a computer, not in the camera.
