Did you install the web-cam correctly? If not uninstall it then try to restall it again and see if that helps. If not call the manufactor and see if they can give you a walkthrough and maybe that will solve your problem. Good Luck!

My name is eghan and i am using toshiba satellite c650 but the webcam on the laptop is not working and i don't know why. i have tried several times to install its webcam drivers but still it fail to...

You need to redownload the drivers for your web cam. Go to this link: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2761023&rpn=PSC16U&modelFilter=C650D-ST2N02&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663

When you get there,Then scroll down and select your operating system (ex: XP, Vista, or Windows 7). It will then show all the drivers for your operating system...scroll down and select page 2. Then scroll down until you see the camera driver software and then download and reinstall it. Hopefully this will help...good luck.

No operating system found

If the error message says "No operating system found" it is most likely a faulty disk controller or a faulty hard disk.
Reseat the hard disk, if this doesn't work you need to test the hard disk another way. Remove the hard disk and connect it to an USB hard disk adapter and connect it to a working computer's USB port. If this computer sees this as an external hard drive and you can open the folders and files then the hard disk is OK and the fault is the disk controller on the the 4115c laptop.
If the hard disk is not detected then the hard disk is faulty. You need to install a new hard disk, install Windows and the laptop's device drivers and programs to get a working laptop again.

Webcam problem

remove the driver, use the windows plug and play driver, uninstall the driver and reboot, if using vista, check your drivers again it should have come with the proper driver already installed.Ijust set an acer up last week and needed no drivers from an outside source.
