Question about Vizio L32 32 in. LCD HDTV

1 Answer

The television has sound, but does not display a picture. We initially hooked it up to a digital converter and it worked fine. After a few minutes, the screen would go black, but the sound remained. Now it doesn't have a display at all. Have I done something wrong, or is the TV faulty?

We're still hanging on by our toenails waiting for a helpful response from FixYa. We did contact Philips tech support and they basically said that we need a new TV...so they're sending one to replace this one, and we are sending back the "old" one (that we just bought in December '08).

Is a FLM-153B a digital tv

The US government is offering rebated on digital converters which is a good option. check http://www.dtv.gov/
You can buy digital connectors and digital cable at most retails stores to hook the equipment up.

-good luck-

If you unplug the unit from wall plug for ten minutes, it should reset the picture. I would unplug the a/v cables also in case of a ground loop
