Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I want to try the new window beta operating system. Should I continue to keep the VISTA installed or should I uninstall it? What will happen when the trial period will be over? My lap top came with vista pre-installed, with no vista cd software.
I need your advice, PLEASE.
Keep the old system . Instal the new one leaving the old intact. Thsi is called a dual boot. When you turn it on it will give you the option of which version to run. When insstall the new OS Beta it shoudl give you the options of :"Overwrite windows?" Say no. Then go ahead and install. As to the question about your existing windows. Ifyou have not the reinstall cd's or the reinstal someone else on your hard driver, and you loose you present windows. You will usually have to purchase either the reinstal cd's or a new windows version. I myself,of would make sure to have or make them before instaling anything else.
