Hi There, My IBM T40 Think Pad keeps on losing connection with hard disk frequently, Before i tried to remove it & Reattached it again & it has worked, But now it's not helping any...

If the hard-drive is losing connection even after removal you should test to make sure that the drive is still functioning.
Try to see if your system has an on-board diagnostic, (f12 on startup, before the windows loading screen) this will tell you if the hard-drive itself is actually broken, or if it is just a connection.

My DVD receiver HT762 does not switch ON. initial check on the power supply shows 330V DC on the first power supply. The next supplies using flyback regulator IC 6252 and UC3844 do not work. the voltage at...

Why is there 330 volts? Most recivers work off 250volts AC, so why would it need 330 volts! Seems to me that whatever is producing that 330 volts is the bad guy that is causing the trouble, unless you live in some part of the world that uses a voltage higher than 250!

I keep losing my connection - IBM Thinkpad t42

Are you using IBM SW or Windows to manage the wireless? Occassionally, the IBM SW has issues with certain model routers and encyrption types.

You can also try unchecking the "Allow Computer to turn this device off to save power" in the adapter properties and

Adjusting the power on the wireless device to the max. By default IBM sets it in the middle to conserve power.

This is usually a sign of a bad power inverter circuit or back light lamp. These problems should be checked out by a service center. I hope this helps you with your problem.

Power-on password problem!

The power on password is stored on an EEPROM chip and removing the BIOS/CMOS battery won't help.
You need to read the EEPROM chip to get the password.
for solution to your problem (you need to construct an interface hardware and install two programs on a working computer)
Have fun

Zanussi zdt 6252

I had the same problem with Zanussi ZDT 6252. To fix it, turn power on, close door fully, then open door, turn off then turn back on again. If you follow this sequence the machine is reset and you can select programs again.
