When I am trying to use my camera on my Pantech Duo I always get an error message that reads: Insufficient RAM space, please close one or more program(s) and try again. How would I know what programs are running to close them to be able to use my camera?
my camera wont work because it says 'insufficient RAM space'. i tried the task manager and closed everything and also restarted my phone but it still won't work.my camera wont work because it says 'insufficient RAM space'. i tried the task manager and closed everything and also restarted my phone but it still won't work.
i am having the same exact problem...my phone says there's not enough RAM to open the camera. I used to be able to just restart it and it wouldn't be a problem. Now that doesn't even work. i am having the same exact problem...my phone says there's not enough RAM to open the camera. I used to be able to just restart it and it wouldn't be a problem. This same thing has happened to me and all i did was had to delete some of my pictures. I saved them on my computer first, then i deleted. I think it just doesnt have enough space to hold a lot of pics
Also, in addition to going to your " task manager" and closing them. it will not help much. your duo is a smartphone, so its like a computer, it needs to be rebooted once in awhile. shut it off and turn it back on every couple days, it will free up your used space. can check your space in your task manager by going to start-applications-task manager.

this happens when the clearance for the lense mechanism to open and close is being insufficient due to -small bits of sand or lint that may become get trapped in the mechanism which is commom while taking photos in open dust spaces.
It is advised to take the camera to a camera repair shop and have it disassembled and cleaned,if delayed the problem gets complicated.. thank you...take care

You'll need to close programs that are running in the background (they don't close even though you can't see them anymore). The easiest way to do that is to open up your quick list - the button with the lightening bolt/lock. Then scroll to task manager, then close all of the programs that are open. That should work. My phone does the same thing - I hate it!
I have the pantech duo and mine did the same thing but I deleted some music that I bluetoothed/synced to my phone and that cleared up the space. My advice would be to get a micro ds card.
You have to go to start ,aplications, then to task manager. its like on a computor when u hit ctrl, alt, delete. it will have a list of all the programs that are running. highlight all the programs u arent using at that time and press stop.
