Adjust belt tension

Ypur Ford has a self adjusting (non-adjustable) belt tensioner. If the belt is from 2008, you wouldn't go wrong replacing it. However, if it is really loose, either your tensioner spring has crapped out or the belt has been routed incorrectly. A diagram under your hood should show the proper routing of the belt. Good luck.

Belt routing diagrams

Hello-
According to Dayco, this is it. Give a quick holler if this doesn't make sense, sometimes they get it wrong. Engine code is always nice to make sure.

I think i routed my serpentine belt wrong i need a really clear routing diagram for a 2004 grand prix

usually somewhere under the hood you will find a diagram showing how your belt should go. If not ask your local discount auto parts store and they can help you.

Triton 400 sometimes street maps move anywhere from 100 ft either way to 1/8 mile away from route and makes it show you are off road or in wrong lane.

This problem is most caused by two possible errors. One the maps were not prepared correctly.

Two your navigation settings are wrong. Please reset the datum to WGS84 and see if this helsp.

I have a 3com 4500 connected to 2 5500s (A & B), which are the the GWs for the 4500. I issued on the 4500: ip route-static 0.0.0.0 0 192.168.0.254 preference 60 (5500 A) ip route-static 0.0.0.0 0...

From your scenario what i guess is the two 5500's (A&B) are connected to each other also. Thats why the link between B&4500 is remaining down due to STP ( to avoid Network loop).
Please correct me if I am wrong.

What is the status of the link connecting 4500 to 5500 B when 500A is active and when 5500A is down .

If you are running STP i will suggest you to wait for 2 minutes after 5500A goes down and STP will be recalculated and the link connecting to 5500B will become active and then the route will also become active.

Best regards

The distance for the trip in my favorite is wrong.

Sounds like you might have "off road" selected for your navigation preference. Shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line, or great circle for GPS units. As the crow flies will be shorter than a road route.

I replaced the tensioner and serpentine belt is too loose

if the tensioner is on right and the belt is the same size as the old one you have it routed the wrong way. there should be a label under the hood or on the radiator support that shows routing. let me know if you find it.
