How can I know that my motherboard and SCSI card is compatible with each other?

Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/880GM-LE/?cat=Specifications

If the scsi controller card is pci, it will fit the mainboard.
Depending how old it is.
Try to visit the scsi controller cards home page, for more info.

But you will need the scsi driver, for the controller card.

I would not use a scsi drive, because they are old and slow compares to a sata harddrive.
A scsi drive controller, is not easy to setup either.

Hope this will help you

Getting Acer ScanPrimo ST 1220ST to work with Windows 7 and a PCI host adapter with an LSI20329IE Ultra 320 using a VHDCI 68 PIN TO CENTRONICS 50 PIN (CN50) CABLE

Acer ScanPrimo ST 1220ST to work with Windows 7 and a PCI host adapter works just fine I use it every day. The key is to use a third party scanner software called Vue Scan 9.0.57 and using the following start-up procedure so Windows 7 can find the scanner on the SCSI controller. First open windows device manager, then turn on scanner, immediately right mouse click in device manager and select scan for new devices. Windows 7 will immediately find the scanner. It seems that windows will only see the scanner through the SCSI interface during the scanners startup sequence. It has been a while but I believe this works with Mira Scan V4.03 as well.

How do i use an epson filmscan 200 with a laptop running windows 7

were you using it under windows xp? if you have 32 bit windows 7 I would try those same drivers. Unfortunately the filmscan 200 came out under windows 95/98 and so Epson never released XP drivers and some people were able to make it work.
I would consider connecting it to an older computer running windows 98 and then transfer the files as you scan them (this would definitely be the least painful)
If you have 64 bit windows 7 I would not even waste the effort, 32 bit is a long shot maybe.
Do you have scsi drivers on the the windows 7? because the filmscan 200 is a scsi 2 device
Good luck

Epson Perfection 1200 Scanner Driver Needed for Windows 7

I posted this for another user but i'll post it here too,

I remember looking for hours for a driver for my Epson 1200 scanner back when I upgraded by dad to Vista 64 Bit, eventually I found one. Just today I upgraded him to Windows 7 64 bit and remembered I couldn't get it to work, luckily I was able to dig up the driver I used for Vista 64. Worked great in Windows 7.

I can't remember where I found it so I can't credit the person who made the driver unfortunately, however i've uploaded it to Rapidshare for you to download. Here is the link:

http://rapidshare.com/files/324940248/epsonScan_1.0_Per1200Win64eu.zip.html

Just open up the zip file and run the setup. :)

Hope this helps, Merry Christmas!

If you are using Windows XP, the drivers are embedded. It will automatically recognize the SCSI card. For other OS try http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/support/scsi/2940/AHA-2940UW/ S. Mohan.

Pci ide controller for third hard disk

You need to enter into scsi bios first, then do an autodetect for hard drive, this will set the IDE/SCSI hard drive on raid controller.

To enter SCSI control you need to press the same key stated on screen on startup (F6 I assume) I think F3 is just boot settings.

If the card do not enter regularly in CMOS settings for the raid then this card is defective.

Software and driver

You should be able to download the proper drivers for your Operating System directly from Microtek:

http://www.microtek.com/

Since you didn't tell us which country you're located in, or which OS you're using, I can't provide any more specific information for you...

The Download page is located here, for users in the US:

http://support.microtek.com/downloads/

From what I could determine, the X6 model was discontinued some time ago, and there were at least THREE versions of it; you'll have to find it listed under the Product Category in the Discontinued Products section, then choose the version (parallel port / EPP, SCSI, or USB), in order to download the driver you need. Seems that the SCSI version has drivers ONLY for Apple computers; if you're using Windows, you'll need to choose one of the other options...
