I can not adjust the color correctly. There is always a green tint which makes it irritating to watch. The television is only four years old. I have replaced the lamp a year ago and wondered if that was the problem.

Magnavox rear proj (model# 8p6044 c102) pic is cloudy/green tint

Yes the coolant gets crud buildup in it over time which will cause the color and clarity to get very poor with obects that will glow around certain bright ojects. You can get the Phillips CRT coolant replacement kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the CRT coolant for all 3 CRTs and also includes the Cd with instructions on how to do the replacement.

My projection tv lost its blue tint

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Usually this happens when the Light Engine has gone bad, and I should say this is a common issue with Projection TVs. There are three tubes/mini LCDs inside your TV- green/yellow, blue and red. When the set heats up over time of usage the screens tend to break resulting in leaking color everywhere. The cost to get this fixed by a professional should be around $300 depending on the parts that needs to be replaced. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

RCA52WH73 color issue

Time to contact RCA again. Either you have been unlucky enough to have a second tube fail or you have had a color driver ic fail. Either way time to contact RCA for another replacement.

Toshiba 56HM195 56 in HD DLP Loud Buzzing and color distortion

If the sound, sounds more like a Hum with some vibration chances are the Cooling fan located behind the lamp is going bad, about $20 to repair, if its a high pitch hum most likely the Color Wheel and if thats the case about $30.
Good luck, my fan just went bad now seeing green dots everywhere, so debating on just junking it out or fixing it, with winter coming on might just breakdown and buy LCD and say the heck with DLP from now on.
Good luck to you..
