This is a Jenn Air model JDS9860AAB-the display is blank and the circuit breaker was off. When it is reset it snaps back off. This dual fuel downdraft slide-in range is just over 5 yeras old and has been replaced twice. Has there been any recalls on this model?

There may be, but your problem is not any of those. You apparently have a short to ground somewhere that need's to be located and repaired.

Unit has no power. Circuit breaker OK. Is there a fuse somewhere in the hood?

Very likely the power supply unit is faulty or the controller itself. The parts list shows no fuse internally. The power is directly going to the control board (item 3). Make sure you turn power to the rangehood off at circuit breaker before working on it.

Hello, Sounds like the transformer may have problems. There are very high voltages even in a microwave that is not powered up. Be carefull. It is between to take into a shop to have repaired.

My jmc7000 jenn-air blew a circuit breaker. No power to the unit. There is power to the recepticle. I'm wondering if it blew a circuit breaker, does that mean the problem is most likely a big problem...

Yau say a few conflicting things. First you wonder if it blew a breaker, and then say you have power to the receptacle. If you have poer to your receptacle your breaker if not tripped. There are NO breakers Inside of the Microwave. Only 1 time fuses. So, if your init is dead it has probably blown a fuse inside of the unit. If that is the case. Probably shorted HIgh volt capacitor would be my first guess. If it is jsut dead. it can be other things than just a blown fuse. bad thermal protectors, bad low voltage transformer on main circuit board. Burnt wires. Anything that will cause it to lose power inside the unit. From bad parts to bad connections.

Our display panel light went out on our model w30400p jenn-air single wall oven.

Make sure there's power getting to your range, oven or cook-top. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power with a voltmeter or by plugging something else in. I would also advise to inspect the junction point on the backside of the unit for a possible separation of the power cord as well. If all checks out ok, The main control board will be the culprit.

NOTE_ If your unit is equipped with a relay board, this will be the likely culprit, if all checks out ok. If there is no relay board present inside the unit, replace the main control board.

No power in the microwave. It is as if you unplugged it. Is there an internal fuse in the unit? There is power to the unit. The unit shows nothing on the panel and when you open the door, no light comes...

If you look at the back of the oven there are usually small fuses or breakers back there. Check to see if that is the issue. Also if you haven't already make sure the wall outlet is functional.

Jenn-Air Gas Range SEG196 NO CLOCK/DISPLAY

THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR THE BAD DISPLAY IS TO REPLACE THE CLOCK. I HAVE A JENN AIR OVEN TODAY AS A WORK ORDER TO REPLACE THE CLOCK FOR A FAILED DISPLAY.

FOR THE JGW8130DDB WITH NO POWER ANYWHERE, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A SUPPLY PROBLEM. MAKE SURE THE WIRING IS HOOKED UP WITH THE RED AND WHITE WIRES RECEIVING 240 VOLTS AND THE WHITE WIRE ATTACHED TO NEUTRAL / GROUND.IF THE OVEN HAS A BARE COPPER WIRE AND THE HOUSEHOLD WIRING ONLY HAS THREE WIRES, COMBINE THE WHITE WIRE AND THE COPPER WIRE TOGETHER AND ATTACH TO THE HOUSEHOLD NEUTRAL / GROUND .
UNLESS YOU ARE SURE ABOUT THE HOOKUP IN THE BREAKER/FUSE BOX, DO NOT GO SIMPLY BY THE COLOR OF THE WIRES.

Alarm continusly dings and display is blank.

Spencer...I hope you did this with the power off! First, disconnect all connections and reconnect them. You may have forced a connector. Likely the board is blown...the display and microprocessor are closely connected.
