Question about Sony Alpha DSLR-A100 Digital Camera
Very strange. The lens system that sits between the mirror and the eye piece has become detached. There are a number of rectangular plastic
lenses and what I think are two rectangular metal spring mounting clips, same size as the lenses.. Camera is two months out of warantee and has not been dropped it is used as a spare so has spent most of it's life in a cupboard.
I have been quoted £200 to re-fit the items. half an hours work I would have thought. Can this job be done by a person with a steady hand and lots of patience. In what order do the items need to be re-fitted ?
Please take it to the nearest authorized service center. Since it is out of warranty, you will have to pay for the service. And it is a precision job. So better not to attempt fixing it yourself.
