Question about Kenmore 44109 / 44102 Side by Side Refrigerator
Hello, Maybe you can help me to find out what is wrong with my refrigerator (Kenmore 1999). Few months ago I paid attention that the front surface of the vertical panel that separates a fridge section and the main refrigerator camera is very hot. Literally you can not hold your hand on this surface even a 15 sec. I assume it's something wrong with my refrigerator. Please advice what should I do? Thanks, Vlad
It is normal for that to be warm but not hot. you need to make sure that the condensor coils under the refrigerator is free of dust. You can get to it by removing the back cover and clean it with a vacume. Also make sure the fan at the compressor is operating. and also clean the fan blades while your there. Doing this and making sure the fan is working should solve your problem. Also in the summer time when its hot and humid the refrigerator has to work longer and harder to keep it cold. so you may notice the front just a little warmer then usual, but it should not be hot that you cant touch it. God luck
