Question about LG CU500 Cellular Phone
I cannot get my computer to reconize my phone when I hook it up with the data cable. It will read the sd card and let me drag and drop data. I have installed "LG MOBILE PHONE DATA TRANSFER SUITE" and it gives me a list of phone to install but not a CU500. Auto detect cannot find it either. It has a "CE500" but it does not reconize it.Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? My data cord does have the "black box" in the middle of the cable.
I cannot get vista to load the supplied software for CU500 can u tell me where i can download the suite?

You will have to exit first (right upper menu selection) the Mass Storage mode. The phone will be in Desktop mode then. There is free Desktop software for the LG CU500 from overseas.

YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO DOWNLOAD DRIVERS FOR THE PHONE FIRST. THAT IS WHY IT ISN'T RECOGNIZING IT. ONCE YOU HAVE THE DRIVERS INSTALLED, IT SHOULD READ THE PHONE WHEN HOOKED UP.
