Ok maybe you can try this:

- get the software for the camera and extract into a folder in desktop (to keep it at hand mainly)
- plug in camera and wait for the Guide to a new device thingy, where it asks you to insert cd.
- now most times the computer asks you to insert cd or indicate location of installation folder, instead of cd, try to look for an option to browse to the directory where you extracted the files.

If that works, you will be able to get the basic drivers installed and when you restart, guide won't appear anymore because won't be a new device, and then u could install additional software.

you have not installed the driver for the camera. Install the driver and the camera and the computer will recognize the camera and guide you through the downloading

make sure you have driver cd come along with the printer just insert the disk in cd rom and run it after finishing the installation just restert the system and connct the usb cable of camera it will automatically install.

The camera comes with 2 disks. The xtra one is a driver for Windows XP. I am in need of disk 1 but have the XP driver! I also noticed Largan's site is down.
