Page starts to come up, lasts about 2 seconds and then I get a blank page. If I go in from my favorites list, I sometimes get just the video block, but it has a rectangle missing from the upper right hand corner of the video block.
I just got a new internet provider. Could there be a problem with the new installation that I don't know about?

Does this happen on regular web pages or when running other apps like Word? I repair laptops and have found that sometimes the screen switch is flakey and needs contact cleaner to get it working properly again.
Sounds like you need to update internet explorer. Do you have automatic updates on? You can have two internet explorer windows open at the same time. If you have IE5, minimize the window and open another one the same way you opened the first one. You can download anything as long as your hard drive is big enough. Most are at least 60 gig now days and if your pc was purchased new within the last 5 years, its probally 160 gig or bigger. When you click a link to download something it will usally ask you if you want to save it or run it. Click save and then it will ask you where to save it to. Click the work "Desktop" on the left, then click SAVE. To save a site to favorites, click the star or the word favorites on the Internet Explorer window. Then click add to favorites. Make sure you are on the page you want to add to favorites first.

You can also try this: 1. Open IE by clicking on its icon on Desktop. 2. Click on Tools > Internet Options 3. Under 'General' tab, click the 'use blank' button under the "home page" entry. 4. Click on "Programs" tab and click on 'make default' button under "Default Web Browser" entry. 5. Click 'Apply' and 'OK' buttons
Close IE and reopen to see if this solves the issue. Please post back if this is not what you meant in your original query..
Can you punch in the channel numbers directly to go to the channels, but just not tune to them with the Channel Up/Down buttons? If so then try tapping the favorite button on the remote until the screen shows "favorite mode off". This mode likes to stay [or perhaps turn] on when you scan for channels, but scanning clears everything in the favorite list except for the channel you are on when you start the scan (so it seems), thus leaving only one or two channels showing up. (This happens whenever I re-scan for digitals.) To pick out favorite channels, go into the channel menu in the tv menu and with "Favorite: Analog" or "Digital" highlighted near the top, hit OK on the remote to toggle favorite status.
have you added them to the main area or the favorites, they may only be appearing in the alphabetical area. The main panel is different than from the others, you can have the one touch listed in both places. Check the settings to see if the alphabetical AND favorites are selected.
