This software was included with a printer that we bought. However, right now, it seems like it won't install on our macbook. The printer is compatible with a mac, shouldn't the software, too? I would really like to start using this program as soon as possible! Thanks a bunch!
Although this software, IdeaSoft Scrapbooks Plus came with your Macintosh-compatible printer, it does not seem to be compatible with Macintosh computers. One of the requirements of installing and using Scrapbooks Plus is having a computer with either Windows 98, 2000, ME, or XP.
I'm sorry to hear that this software came with your printer but is not compatible with your computer. There are other similar programs out there that work with Macintosh computers, such as iRemember and Polaroid My Memories Suite, but both cost additional money to purchase.
I hope this has helped you in some way. Have a great evening!

You could visit the vendor's website and download a version for you operating system. If you don't know the vendor's website then simply search in Google for the required software. For example if I need to download express scribe for mac I will search in Google with the following keywords "download express scribe for MAC". Once you have downloaded the software you can install it by double clicking it.* Express Scribe is a software used for transcription.
Unfortunetely, no. Apple is not as obsessed with backwards compatibility as the folks in Redmond and they do not support the old enviroments. This leads to far less security holes that have to be patched every couple of days, a more stable OS and more revenue from new software sales ;-)
It appears that the RR-US430 only has driver software that is designed to work under Windows Vista. There is no specific Mac software available on the Mac, are there any claims that the device will work directly connected to a Mac.
If you have an Intel Mac, and use Bootcamp, Parallels or VMWare Fusion, you could try installing Vista using one of those methods, then running the driver software from here to see if your RR-US-430 is recognized while running Vista on your Mac.
It's a longshot, but pretty much the only option you have if you really want to try using the recorder on a Mac.
You should be able to install the Digital Imaging Monitor by using the HP CD which will have been included with your printer/scanner.
I can't help you a lot more, since you didn't enter a model number, but if you visit http://support.hp.com, and enter your model number there, you'll be able to download the software, if you've lost the disc.
The software and indeed the xl-6000 will not work with a 64bit system.I had the same problem.I bought a used laptop 32bit and windows xp and it works perfectly. You can get a serial/usb adapter to use with newer pc that doesn't have serial port, but you still need 32bit system.
Make sure that the version you're trying to install is the Mac version, as if you have the Windows version of the game, it will not install on Mac. If you do have the Mac version and it still doesn't install, check to make sure you have room on your Hard Drive for the game.
