your mobile has a sensor at the top of you phone which is use to make you screen blank when you keep your phone near your ear to save power during a call.(it may be a sensor malfunction)
2.the vertical lines occurrence is common in all mobiles there's no prb with that!!!!
The problem with the phone is the flexi ribbon thet slides the phone up and down, it is not properly seated that is why it is losing contact with the main board of the phone, hereby resulting in blank screen while dialing or making a call.
The flexi ribbon is known as the flex, so as soon as you replace the flex of your phone, it will work perfectly fine once again.
Have a repairman fix the flex of your phone, and it will be in good condition once again.
ok this model of phone has a sensitive screen and will cause the screen to have a slight malfunction if it is repeatedly touched. you really want that screen locked as soon as it can. you can set the screen to wait a little long but i also have this model of phone and if your talking on it with the screen unlocked you will scramble the calibration on the screen. to repair the calibration you go to the four little dots hit it go to the settings wheel at the bottom right. ok now go to more . go to touch calibrations at go thru the calibration of the touch screen it may tell you that your off a few times but dont worry this is normal. continue thru the steps and save when you feel you have it set to your liking.
i found this on another forum... hopefully it's the answer we are looking for.
Re: Bug with Phone virtual number pad I've found the answer to this problem!
Part of the problem is that the screen blacks out shortly after a call is connected.
When that happened I pressed the green phone button to get the keyboard back.
This keyboard image is a dummy. It visually responds to your touch but does not send the signal.
After you dial and your call is connected look at the bottom of
the screen and you'll see that the normal menu tab changes and appears
with the number 5 and letters jkl on it.
Pull it up with your finger. THIS is the keypad you must use when within a call to send number signals. I tested it and confirmed that it works.
If you have pulled up the dummy keyboard by pressing the green call
button from within a call then simply hit the BACK button to see the
real keypad tab.
If the screen has gone black and you need to light it up again then you can press BACK, HOME, or MENU to see the real keypad tab -- press anything BUT the green call button (which will give you the dummy keypad).
This dummy keypad is a true design flaw but knowing how to get to the
functional one makes it an annoyance not a hindrance to using the
