Question about HP Photosmart C5280 Printer
I recently bought this printer and when I went to install the CD that came with the printer it was not compatible with my Windows Operating system (Windows 7 64 Bit). I went to HP.com to install the driver and it was fine, however, I am missing the HP Solution Center. I need that Solution center in order to print directly on the CD/DVD that I am trying to create. Does anyone have any solutions for me?
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I am sick and tired of the problems i have with this PSC, but i have found a scanning solution and thought i would share it.
Use Microsoft Paint. It's not the best application in the world, but you can insert a scan from a scanner in the 'file' menu. :0) The scans are not of the best quality, but i'm grateful i can scan at all with this useless PSC.

There is something on your scanner glass. Clean the glass with glass cleaner. If this happens when using the automatic document feeder, open the top side cover where the paper feeds into. There is a narrow glass strip there. Clean that as well.
If this fails, the scanner head has a bad sector on the CCD and will need to be replaced. You will probably find that it will be cheaper to replace the printer entirely if that is the case.
