Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

Calculating TVM variables I/Y & N. eg. N = 10, PV = 10,000, FV = 20,000, PMT = 0 but when I CPT I/Y I get Error 5

Error 5 indicates that no solution exists. In this particular case, you're asking for the interest rate on a savings account that pays you 10,000 now and an additional 20,000 10 years later. (Or a loan where you pay 10,000 now and an additional 20,000 10 years later.)

Either PV or FV should be negative. For example, if you deposit 10,000 in a savings account and withdraw 20,000 10 years later, use -10,000 for FV.

I have welder Hobart Champion 10,000. I need an electronic board. The welder doesn't send electricity

It looks like Hobart made 3 different versions of the 10,000. If you go to their website and enter the model # (and serial #), you can download the exact owners manual with complete parts listing (according to their site). The website is: http://www.hobartwelders.com/service/owners-manuals

The part should be available from them..or with the part number, you can google it and see what is out there in the secondary market.

Hope this helps

Mr Tan invested 35,000 and Mrs Tan invested 45,000

The equation to solve this is given by:

mr Tan's money x

Mrs Tan's money x + 10000

x times .05 + (x + 10000) times .05 = 4000

solve for x

Motor Speed Question

The RPM rating of the die grinder is the deciding factor in the tool’s usage. A die grinder with a lower RPM is best used for fine grinding and finishing work. Speeds lower than 10,000 RPM are best for this function. A die grinder with an RPM between 10,000 and 20,000 is great for creating rough finishes and minor buffing jobs. If the die grinder will be used to remove metal burrs or to cut metal, it must have an RPM rating of over 20,000 and a no-load speed of at least 30,000 depending on the RPM rating.
