Question about Maytag Dryers
My Maytag dryer model MDG9700AWW has a flame for only about 30 seconds.Everything else keeps running (drum does not stop turning) but the clothes do not get dried up.
I do not know if it is the igniter or thermostat or something else.
Thank you !!
This sounds like a clogged vent more than a thermostat. go outside with the dryer running and see if hot air is blowing out the vent. if not check outside vent for birds nest etc, inside make sure the vent is straight any dips in vent could cause water to build up clogging the vent. try this first if it doesn't work write back
