SOURCE: Laptop can't find access point!

Some laptops come with a button\switch or use key combination to turn on or off the wireless(to conserve power)! Refer to your user manual for exact instructions! If that didn't solve the situation then it could be your actual wireless card within the laptop is giving trouble! regards, babb

For that press RESET button it is in the back side of access point hold it for 10 seconds then all settings defaults then reconfigure it again. You can configure it with below method. You can also configure it with below method.
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. Then click on WAN settings set it as your internet service provider settings enable DHCP Then click on wireless and enable it. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Unable to calibrate MC65 follow the calibrating instructions but it will not calibrate

Press the blue button and the backspace.
Calibrate.
Doesn't work? Try to reset the Database. Options -> Reset DB
Doesn't work? When the machine is plugged into your computer, open the SD Card, and wipe it clean. And resync the information.
If none of these work, it is a hardware, not a software problem. And that section of the screen is not working.

Cannot connect 2 computers to Motorola SBG900 wireless cablemodem

mac and pc security keys are not interchangable. I suggest not using a a key for both units. You can reset the router by unplugging it for 1 minute. or you gain access to the router through the web address. 192.168.1.1 Type this into the address bar to gain access to the router.

Can't connect to the internet wirelessly

Well, to avoid confusion, I'd start by doing a factory reset. Insert the straightened end of a paperclip into the reset hole and power up the device to do this. From there, the device should begin broadcasting the default wireless network with the name (SSID) of "Motorola." The DHCP server should also be enabled and if your computer is configured to receive an automatically assigned IP address your wireless network interface should pick up an IP. The security for the "Motorola" network is disabled by default.

Basic troubleshooting from there would be to try to see if you can connect your wireless computer to another wireless network that is know to be working well. Either buy and return another wireless access point or router from a retailer or head to a Starbucks or other establishment that offers free wireless. If the wireless computer is hooking up nicely with the secondary wireless network, you can refocus on the SBG900 as the likely source of the problem.

If after attempting the aforementioned procedures you find that the wireless computer continues to fail to connect to the SBG900 you might have to consider that you have a faulty device. At that point I would consider consulting the manufacturer's documentation.
