If the RPM's are abnormally high you have a lean fuel mixture which will cause great internal damage. A lean condition is caused by an incorrect high speed needle adjustment on the carburetor or an air leak somewhere.

My sewing machine shark euro-pro 361 is jammed. Needle will not move. What do I do

See if you can remove the bobbin from the machine. Most likely the bobbin and upper threads are entangled and have trapped the needle. You can remove the presser foot and loosen the needle from the needle bar (as though you are going to remove it). Then if you get a small pair of scissors in there and start nipping thread pieces and removing them with tweezers, you may be able to loosen it up.

Throttle seems stuck on a 1995 ford probe as when engine is started it races with no control

This sounds like a major vaccum leak or a stuck IAC(idle air control) motor.Look for a loose/broken vacuum line(a large hose feeds the brake booster and the PCV valve).(my stepson's Sable had a rotten vacuum elbow).

Motor races when you step on drakes

check all vaccum lines first when you step on the brake pedal does it feel normal. sounds like when your steping on the brake it causes a vaccum leak on the motor and causes it to race

Putting the race back into the machine

The race thing as you call it does not look broken compared to mine. I don't see that you can put it back in wrong there should only be one way it would fit. The point goes to the back under the feed dogs.

My fabric won't advance.

Hi Jodyk...Remove your flatbed so you can access your bobbin area. Open the cover of the bobbin area. The shiny/bright components consist of the Bobbin, which snaps into the Shuttle Hook, which is contained in the Race. Immediately right of the Race is a pewter/matte silver colored lever. Press the lower portion of the lever to raise the Feed Dogs. Pressing the upper portion drops the Feed Dogs, and is commonly used to accomplish free-hand applique work......good luck my friend.
