Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Digital Tv is stuck on a channel

I have found the solution at last :)
Put the TV in standby and press these buttons in order
Info, Menu, Mute and Power on.
You will then see a hidden menu, on line 12 select reset
Bingo :)

SOURCE: stripes on screen

This is just a poorly designed TV, it has thermal problems, if you notice there is room for a fan at the top, but they left it out. I have had the power supply die and I fixed it, no help from Niko. I have resolved to let this tv die when it is ready now and move on. An expensive lesson on early adoption of cheap off-brand products.

SOURCE: Westinghouse 32" LCD TV

I had nearly exactly the same problem. Like you, I noted that keeping a fan going solves the problem, so i just went out and found a really small and silent fan that I could attach to the back of the tv. Since my TV had a USB port, I found a $10 USB-powered computer fan and attached it there. Full story at http://bottleworld.net/?p=193 . Hope that helps.
