Question about Cuisinart EM-200 Espresso Machine
No matter if i select 1 cup 2 cup or manual brewing it starts and stops within 2 seconds and keeps flashing and beeping....
If it is an EM200
1) Confirm that the water container is well seated.
2) This happened to me this am. Turned out that if I used my wifes caffeinated coffee it would start and then just beep beep beep. However my decaf worked just fine.
Nooo silly wasn't because it likes decaf BUT it's because she tried a new coffee it was ground too fine. and when tamped down it simply plugged the machine and it could not flow so it was beeping. Went back to the coffee shop and got a new 'grind' and voila problem solved.

Finally, I got my coffee pot to run through without stopping several times. To fix it I had to run vinegar through eight times! Never before has it taken so many cycles to clean out a pot. It is still spluttering a bit so today I am going to get more vinegar or maybe even CLR and run it through a few more times.

The door on the top is not closed properly. When you open the top door(cover),you will see a button that is located on the top of the grinder cover. that is a switch that tells the coffee maker that the door is closed and can safely make coffee..please check that all parts are in place and top door(cover) is closed comepletly. good luck.

Turn the function knob to Auto Off
Hold down the hour button til you see the clock display blinking
you can then use the Hour and Minute buttons to program how long you want the coffee maker to stay on.
You can choose from 0 minutes (seems to be what you have it set on now) to 4 hours.
