Question about Deadbolt ELECTRONIC DEADBOLT KEYLESS ENTRY DOOR LOCK
The lock appears to work the opposite way it should
If you remove the inside housing from the door, and look inside on the left hand side of the circuit board, you will find a slot marked "L R".
Slide the switch to the opposite of what it is set for. This will solve the problem.

You must ensure the deadbolt is in the locked position when attaching the control mechanism. The control mechanism must also be set to the locked position. Turn the manual knob to the left then attach the mechanism (with the batteries) to the flat pin. You can do all of this with the door open, so you can enter the codes. My initial install created the same issue. It worked properly out of the package, so that meant that I screwed something up. You don't need to return the item. Just do a little fault finding.
