Reset lamp time

The lamp time is the time counted after the last resetting. It is shown in the OPTION menu as the usage time of the lamp. Pressing the RESET button on the remote control or the ? button of the projector displays a dialog. To reset the lamp time, select the RESET using the ? button. RESET ? CANCEL • Please reset the lamp time only when you have replaced the lamp, for a suitable indication about the lamp.

did you try to look on the manual of you projector? see also the connection of your laptop to your projection it maybe loose the cable on it. hope that helps!

Light does not turn green lights come on fan

Try another blub and check to make sure the cover for the blub is on and the liltte switch is being triggerd by the cover to tell the unite the blub cover is on. Kinda like on a washing machine. Good Luck

To reset the lamp operation time on a Mitsbishi XD480U:

Plug in the power cord, turn on the lamp, and press the Left Arrow button, Right Arrow button, and POWER buttons on the control panel ALL AT THE SAME TIME, holding them all down for about three seconds.

Notes:
•Unless these three buttons are pressed at the same time, the lamp operation time isn't reset.
• Make sure that the STATUS indicator is lit twice and the lamp operation time is reset successfully.
• The projector doesn't turn on if the lamp cover isn't attached securely.
• Be sure to reset the lamp operation time whenever you replace the lamp.
• Do not reset the lamp operation time unless you replace the lamp.

Overheating?

Hi, you could use a high feet product from www.pwx.cc to keep the air going under the projector. some fan are place underneath which is not the best solution.

Abnormal Behaviour

You need to reset the operation time meter. To do this, you must press the left and right arrows + the power button simultaneously.
