Check for a piece of a broken staple wedged in the driver slot

The driver can be pushed back and staples inserted and one staple will fire leaving the driver in the out position. The driver is not in a bind which leads me to think that it is an internal o-ring problem.n

Loading staples into a Stanley sharpshooter staplegun

There are 4 staplers in the Stanley SharpShooter family. You drop the staples on top of the "slide out loader," then slide it into the gun. See models and staple sizes below:

My PHT150 SharpShooter is jammed and won't spring back. The staple plunger is sticking out and won't retract.

Sometimes a bit of the staple material will be sheared off and jam the hammer in its guide, keeping the tool compressed. On the business end of a PHT150 there is a notch in the hammer housing and a slot on the staple carrier. Most times a standard screwdriver can be used by sticking the tip straight into the slot and using the notch to leverage the the two apart. If not, you can clamp the hammer housing in a vise and, using the screwdriver in the carrier slot, tap away from the hammer housing to release the jamb.

I have a stanley TR150HL staplegun and am trying to refill it with staples. How do I do this?

If you use the picture that is posted as a reference, the staples are put into the gun by removing the bottom right- hand ( black insert)spring loaded slider. To describe it another way ..... when you hold the stapler in your hand , the staples go in the shoe bottom at the very rear of the gun. This is shown as the black indent at the back and bottom of gun. It is keyed in and is spring loaded ( to feed the staples) so don't be afraid to wiggle until you see how it is kept in the load trough. Good luck....hope this helped.

How do I load my manual powerfast staple gun? Pictures?

Howdy, I don't have pictures, but that model is loaded from the bottom (not the back,as one might expect) while the plunger is pulled to the rear then pushed back in once the staples are laid in the track on the bottom. Handy once you get used to it:)

No spring needed
Turn staplegun upside down. At
rear of tool, squeeze latch on
end of staple channel (see Fig-
ure 4). Pull staple channel cover
out of staple channel until it stops
(see Figure 4).
3. Drop staples into staple
channel. Make sure staple
points are facing up (see
Figure 4).
4. Slide staple channel cover
back into staple channel until it
