Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Hi, i have a Nintendo 64 from August, i bought it from a seller on ebay, and i noticed that when i'm crossing specific places in a level, there is a little or a big lag, while in another places it doesn't lag. I have 3 games: Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo-Tooie, and i have this problem in all 3 games... I never played a N64 before so i don't know if this is normal >_< Can you resolve my problem? :) Sorry for my bad English but i'm Italian, thanks.
Definitely if you are playing one of those 3 games it is normal since those are three of the most graphic intensive games ever released for the console besides Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark. Just like if you remember the days of the original nintendo if you had more than 8 characters/sprites on screen at once the game would crawl until you killed one of the sprites! LOL But for those 3 games if you have a lot of graphics on screen with a lot of textures at certain points in a level it will definitely slow down the frame rate for sure. The only way to remedy this is to attach a heat sink fan to your Nintendo 64 processor similar to how you attach one to a computer but that would have to be a custom job or just play the games on Emulator on your PC. Cheers!

try blowing inside the game cartridge and then the slot the game inserts into. I had this problem on my snes with some games and this helped. Other to that it may be the console is on its way out.
Ebay sell some really cheap snes consoles now. I picked one up for £15.00 with games.

Well it might just be the fact that its an old console and those games are out of date same thing happens to me i wouldn't worry about it too much try cleaning the gamepacks out with qutips and rubbing alcohal then.

Tips for a great answer:
Yes, people flying across few time zones may be able to adjust without noticeable effects of the time change. Those flying across many time zones will likely develop noticeable symptoms of jet lag.
