Question about Sanyo Katana SCP-6600 Cellular Phone
I can send and receive calls, and can hear the person on the other end, but no one an hear me speak, I tried the mute button, I shot some canned air ino the mic, still not any luck. Is there a solution?
Most of the time the microphone is soldered onto the mainboard of the phone and if this is the case it is not feasable to have it fixed but the other 10% of the time the microphone is just placed on the connector pins and and held in place by the phones housing which can be knocked loose from dropping the phone. But honestly the easiest fix is to file an insurance claim through your carrier to have it replaced.
