If you change out your factory exhaust, even just the headers! You will have problems with o2 sensors and other false readings. You must do a complete exhaust and then have your computer adjusted for new equipment added. LIve and Learn, not the old school street cars of my youth! Computer Controlled!!!

The O2 sensor is on the exhaust pipe under the firewall and just before the catalytic converter. It has a wire on it that you need to be careful when you remove it. The sensor itself is screwed into the welded fitting on the exhaust manifold. You should use some liquid rust penetrating fluid (from the auto supply store) to help break it loose....tap the area to get the penetrating fluid in the threads. Use a socket of the appropriate size to turn it out...pop the new one in, connect the wire...

Oxygen sensor slow response. Have the 02 sensor data scanned to determine what sensor may be causing the code. I have come across several dodge/chrysler models that required PCM replacement to correct this issue after replacing 02 sensors didn't correct the problem

Could be the bank 1 sensor 2 O2 sensor. But if you have an exhaust leak between the catalytic converter and the O2 sensor. Fix that first.

I ordered BBK full length headers for my 2007 SRT8 6.1L Hemi Charger. Will they bolt up to OEM specs and have 02 sensor slots just as the stock headers do. Do I need to modify anything or get additional...

Should bolt to the head the same maybe go to studs in engine if possible. The O2 sensor needs to be inthe same distance fromthe head as before. If the sensor area needs to be removed from your system to put in the headers then drill a hole in the collector area and weld in a nut, then screw in the sensor as before

Oil light blinks and oil is at the max in my 07 dogdge charger

oil light normally blinks for 2 reason. low oil pressure or low oil level. if the level is good and since its a 2007 i would hope that it was getting pressure. so its prolly the sensor. you can either remove the sensor and have someone check it. electrician hopefully. or you can just replace it
