I have a Brothers 2920 laser fax. Today it started barely printing so we thought it was the cartige. We replaced it with a new one but it still doesn't print. What do you think?

Sometimes dust on the laser **** glass can cause feint prints, remove the cartridges and look up into the area they came from and there is a thin **** glass going across the machine (imagine a small ruler shape) wipe that with cloth or tissue.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Our 2920 bother fax machine still has our old fax number on all printed paperwork. Could you please advise how we can change this to our current number? Thanks Lucy

You can change the Fax ID in the menu. It should be located in Menu/Set 0,3 (Station ID). Enter your new fax number, menu/set, new phone number, menu/set, your "name", menu/set. And you're set.

Changed the toner but it still says "unable to print"

Put the old tone back in machine. Does the problem still exist? If not try another new toner.

If it does then you may have a mechnical failure which will require a service center.
