SOURCE: Parental controls

Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and enter your 8 digit confirmation number there. When you do so, make sure that whatever today's date is, your Wii is set to that date. (And select Today's date from one of the 3 possible choices.)

(To get the confirmation number, go into Parental control settings, click I forgot on enter pin screen, and Click I forgot on answer secret question screen. This is where you come to where you enter the master password, and the confirmation number you need, to get this master password.)

I bought a meep tablet from someone ... and I cannot set up parental controls because she has already registered tablet under her name. How can I fix this to put it under my name?

Factory reset does not affect the Meep's registration/parent account. This is something OSI must do for you. You can either call 800-853-8883, email customerservice@oscientific.com, or contact the Meep support team on Facebook as Meep Tablet - US. Simply provide your serial# and ask that your parent account be 'cleared' of the previous user's information.

My meep tablet is not responding it keeps telling me system ui is not responding I have tried to push the reset button and turning it off and on but it is not working please help

The first answer does not apply as the Meep is not a laptop and does not have a removeable battery. The second response gives a contact number for another tablet.

If the reset button and rebooting are not resolving the problem, then it is considered a hardware issue. You should contact your nearest Oregon Scientific call center. If you are in the USA, that is 800-853-8883 or customerservice@oscientific.com.

Meep problems

If you are receiving a message on your Meep of 'Times Up!', please try the following steps:
1. Register your Meep. Many of the capabilities of the Meep require the parent account to exist which puts the Meep into our system.

2. Adjust your parental settings to allow for times of use. You must set a time limit for every type of allowed activity and then save those settings. If you did set up permissions and you have the Times Up message, check that your settings are the way you set them and haven't been changed. 3. Update your Meep to our latest firmware version using our Meep Ota App available in the Meep Store and through Google Play. Earlier operating versions are linked to the Times Up issue.

If you still have a Times Up message:
1. It could be an issue within your browser in that it's retaining old settings and not updating them. Try clearing the browser cache and/or disabling extensions within your browser. Another option is our Meep Together smartphone app which can also be used to adjust parental settings instead of the portal website.
2. It could be your Meep is not connecting at this time to our servers thus not being able to receive the updated settings. Check that you show a green dot which means you are connecting to us or send a Private Message with your serial # and we can check the connection from our side.
3. Another option that bypasses servers is that you can update the settings right from the Meep's own parental control interface, assuming you are on version 2.1. Additionally, within the parental app on the Meep, you can reset the timer for the Meep with the reset button, the small circular icon in the upper right hand corner of the time management screen. Once reset, you can adjust the settings as you wish.

Meep wont let me register ?

Activate Parental Controls b> Computers are great tools that help us in work, education and entertainment. They're versatile machines and provide great benefits, but that versatility opens the door for users to access inappropriate content. Microsoft Windows offers a number of controls to restrict or entirely block access to many content types. Unfortunately, the Parental Controls feature is not available in Windows XP or earlier systems, but Windows Vista and 7 have the utility preinstalled. You can set up the controls in a few steps and help protect anyone that uses your computer.

Click the "Start" button in the lower left corner of your screen and then click "Control Panel." Click "Control Panel Home" on the left of the Control Panel window, if it is not already selected. Click "Set Up Parental Controls for Any User." Select the account for which you want to set up controls. This is the "User Controls" section of that account. Select the "On, Enforce Current Settings" option on the left side of the window Click "OK." This activates whatever settings are currently on the computer. Parental Control Settings b> Access the "User Controls" section of the account you want to restrict. Select the type of control you wish to alter or put into effect. Your options include "Time Limits," "Games" and "Allow and Block Specific Programs." Windows Vista also has "Windows Vista Web Filter." Restrict when an account may be used under "Time Limits." You can set what hours the account is available for each day of the week. Set game rating limitations. These settings allow you to select which game rating is the highest permissible for that user. Restrict certain programs. You can block the use of whatever programs you prefer, such as video games or Web browsers. Set Internet restrictions. In Windows Vista, you can decide how strict to make the restriction level immediately; in Windows 7, you must first install the free Windows Live Family Safety 2011 suite http://explore.live.com/windows-live-family-safety?os=other Click the "OK" button in the "User Controls" section once you are finished with the control setup. Hope this helps.

We do not know what are pin code is we got it uesd at game stop

Go to parental controls in system settings. When it asks 'Change Parental Controls settings?' tap yes. When it brings up a numeric keypad, tap the center button, "I Forgot". Next, tap "I Forgot" again. Now you will be shown a screen with a number at the bottom (the 'inquiry number').
Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi and type in your confirmation number and set the date and time in your time zone. Click get reset code and there you go!

Good luck,
