A ball pit is a padded pit (usually square or rectangular) that is filled with hollow plastic balls. The aim is for kids to have fun jumping inside the pit without any worry of getting hurt.
A lot of gymboree type places have large ball pits.

A few days ago I took my kids to a restaurant that had a ball pit and now they're starting to complain that they are feeling sick. Is it possible that they could have caught something from the ball pit?

I don't want to scare you but if the place that the ball pit was in doesn't take care of their ball pit then they become breeding grounds for germs. You can be proactive and contact the manager of the place you were at to find out how often they clean the ball pit to rule it out. I hope the kids feel better soon!

How do you disinfect the balls in a ball pit?

There are commercial companies like Goldstar that specialize in ball pit sanitization or you can invest in a ball pit cleaning machine. If you have an institution with a ball pit you should make sure to clean the balls daily, or at least once every 3-5 days.

To clean a ball pit can I just soak the balls in a water and bleach solution?

Some balls might have small holes in them or cracks that if completely imersed in water can become breeding grounds for mold. To be on the safe side you should never soak them, use a spray bottle to coat them in the solution to disinfect the balls.

71 FLH been awhile since started, started and oil came out the tube that comes from oil pump as a overflow I think and onto the ground

There's a spring loaded check ball that is suppose to prevent oil from gravity feeding past the oil pump when the engine is off. Over time, the seat could pit, or the check ball itself could get a groove worn in it from the seat, or the spring could weaken (take a "set").
If your's is all original, let's face it, it's 42 years old!
You could try a new ball and spring and see if that helps.

BUT, if it sat a looooong time, no matter what, SOME oil most likely will seep past the check vale, and get pumped out a vent.
If after running a bit, and it doesn't do it again, I wouldn't worry about it.

Are ball pits safe?

It's not easy for anyone to claim that Ball Pits are definitely safe. There are can be potential games in many kids toys and games.
Ball Pits are great fun for kids but you should be aware of the following risks:
1. Ball Pits can be filled deeply with balls and so you can't see the bottom. if there are any sharp objects etc at the bottom, there is a risk you will miss them.
2. Its hard to clean Ball Pits and if you are in a public play area, it's possible that the Ball Pit might be a haven for bacteria.
3. There is a risk of injury as kids tend to jump really high into ball pits and arent' always sure where they will land.

We are planning to add several natural gas appliances behind our house. One being a 10KV Generator, the other a gas fire pit. Also Possible a small gas furnace in a work shop. I already ran a one inch black...

Hello It is IMPORTANT to keep the entire run 1".When you get close to the appliance use a 1"X1/2"X1"bull tee.Right now you need 2.Use a 1"plug at the end for future furnace hook up.You need to maintain 1" for pressure during demand reasons. You can use 1"X3/4X1"bull tee if the appliance(gas valve) takes that size ,you can't go wrong with larger pipe.Install a BALL **** at each tee for service.
