Note that 'SOLTEK' (not 'SOLTEX') was based in TAIWAN, before they went bankrupt. So, any "technical support" that was stored on their web-site is *NOT* available.
So, take a magnifying glass, a strong lamp, and try to read the tiny print embossed onto the motherboard, for any "hints" about which pins are for what purpose.
Are you saying that another processor is recognised (so board is OK) and that this processor is recognised in another board (so CPU is OK)or are you saying that it is recognised as something else?
Have you updated the BIOS?
Have you checked the switch settings? SW2 (front of case)should only have DIP6 on; SW1 (back)should either have DIP5 off for autodetect, or DIP1 off for 11.5 multiplier (I think!).
