The best way to keep your pedal boat is to move your boat into a garage after you use it. You can also keep it on the shore but make sure it is covered. Remember that if you have a plastic boat, water can get in between the hull and the deck. You should make sure that you get the water out before it creates mold.

The best material for a boat is Fiberglass. However if you prefer Plastic you may want ABS which is harder and lighter than the regular plastic. Aluminum is also a good material for boats. Its downside is that it lacks the foam and it conducts electricity.

Can hear water in the hull; is there a quick drain and where is the most likely area it is leaking from, is there a kit? model H27.

in the nose of the boat right next to the handle theres a funny looking switch if you stand the boat on its nose and flip the switch it will let the water out.
But...in my personal opinion it keeps the hull a little lower to the water and the paddles deeper...
