Possible hardware failure, unfortunately.
Disconnect it from all the devices connected to it. Turn it on and off.

Projectors shut off when they overheat. They overheat when air does not move through the projector cooling it. This happens when the fans are not working or air filters/vents are not working.
Check to see whether the fans are working. If they are working, open the cover and see whether air filters/vents are covered with dust. If so clean them.

New bulb worked for a short trail run now wont light up. flashing green led colour wheel is turning on start up

when you changed the lamp, did you blow the dust out of the projector? if the screen on the side of the lamp is blocked (i.e. with dust), the lamp will blow quickly. if the projector were to overheat, by the fans not running or blocked vents, everything would shut down and the led would blink red.

There is no air coming out of the back of the console and two red lights are flashing after it overheats we think the fan is broken because as soon as you put it on it switches off completely

2 flashing red lights means the unit powered off because of an overheat.

If there is no air moving out the back of the unit the fan is definitely shot. If you're still under warranty, send it back to Microsoft and let them fix it.

If not, buy a replacement fan for $5 and fix it yourself.

Toshiba TDP SC25 projector

The manual says it might be because the power went out when it was on. Just a note here, as projectors age they become more sensitive to power outages. When not in use turn off completely if you can. They have an on/off button.

Otherwise not sure but think you may need to replace the fan. Try cleaning it first but gently.

sounds like what 80% of the projectors on this page are seeing... bad power supply or lamp ballast.
