You have to make sure your pc is using the correct bluetooth profile. It may only be connecting as a headset for talking. You need to make sure it's set up to connect for audio playback as well. If you're using windows, you can change the settings in your device manager.
DA40 cable (and headset) is a plug-and-play device which requires no
special drivers to operate properly. I believe that the DA40 is acting
like a switch between the software applications loaded onto your PC's
(i.e. operating system, cosmo com call center client, etc.). Much like a
light switch in an electrical circuit, where the DA40 enters the PC's
circuit it is interfering (turning off) with the operation of the other
systems. I would recommend getting a computer technician to check one of
your stations, or the server, to see where and how the break is
happening. You'll probably find that the DA40 was just an innocent
by-stander that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's worth a
shot and better than replacing 150 headsets and cables.
you just need to find a free driver to download for the computer to be able to read the device. After the driver is downloaded and installed, it should read automatically. At least that's how it works with windows vista. IF you have XP, you might need to run the wizard after the driver is installed
