Yes. However you should never leave an infant floating by them in a pool and you should always ensure that you are close by.

Fuel level error on 1997 lincoln continental

You did not say what type error you have, but assuming it shows empty it can be a bad float in the fuel tank. When you check the float, you can shake it to see if it contains a liquid. When you test it for floatation, gasoline must be used, not water, because the specific gravity of water is different than gas.

The float should not have a liquid in it, so that would mean the float will sink. Other than that, bad connections could cause low readings.

Can children wear adults life jacket?

No. It is very important that life jackets will properly fit the person that wears it. Life Jacket first and main purpose is to keep your head and shoulder above water. If the jacket is loose the floatation will push the jacket around the face and if it's too small it will not float.

The Toto toilet runs and will not shut off.

The reason for toilets running is one of 2 problems. 1)The flush valve (or flapper) is not closing/sealing properly. 2)The fill valve is not closing properly.

Regarding the flush valve; usually it's the chain connecting the handle to the valve hanging up on something. When the valve is closed, the chain should have a little bit of slack in it. Sometimes these valves actually get cracks in them from age and that doesn't allow a good seal. So you could try a new flapper or whole new flush valve.

Regarding the fill valve; most of these have a floatation device. Make sure the float is able to rise all the way to shut off the valve. Watch the water come into the tank; there is an overflow tube in the middle of the tank. If the water goes into the over flow tube that means the float is not rising high enough to shut of the valve. Where I live there is a lot of lime in the water and this accumulates and can causes problems with float movement. Or it could be out of adjustment. The old floats had an arm you could bend to adjust and the newer ones twist up or down on the valve pedestal.

In closing, both valves are fairly cheap and anyone with some basic tools and a little know how can change them out. I hope this helps.

Bosch SHU43C installed in 2003

My Bosch SHU43C had the same exact problem. I found the below solution on this site. Perhaps you already seen it.

My SHU43C is just over 3 years old. I had a similar problem recently. First, there were a few floods. Then, the Bosch only drained non-stop. Even when I used the Cancel Drain buttons the drain pump would run without stopping. When I tried to run one of the cleaning cycles, no water entered the machine. Corrective: I removed the base plate, and saw that the red plastic floatation device was in the up position. Using a flashlight and a wooden spoon, I lightly toggled the red float stem down. I pushed regular clean cycle and kept toggling with the red float stem until the rinse water started to enter the machine (turning the red stem seems to also actuate a step in the program). Now the dishwasher runs normally. Voila!
