I have Oakley glasses with iridium lenses that I absolutely love. They completely protect my eyes and they don't hurt after a long day in the sun. Oakley make a lot of different frames for iridium glasses but really anything iridium is fine.

Tips on choosing the sunglasses color.You can't go wrong with basic black....

Tips on choosing the sunglasses color.You can't go wrong with basic black. Everyone should have at least one pair of gigantic black sunglasses for everyday wear - they're so Breakfast at Tiffany's. For extra movie-star appeal, make sure the lenses are as dark as possible.
Pay attention to the colors you wear most often. You want your sunglasses to work with the majority of your clothes. Do you wear cool colors most often? If so, try to stay with cool colored sunglasses in shades like black, gray, blue, and silver. If you tend to wear warmer colors, look for brown, red, gold, or similar warm-toned sunglasses.
Try to buy shades in one of the colors that flatters you most. Shades that flatter your skin and hair coloring will bring out your features and make you glow. Not sure which colors look best on you? See my article How to Find Your Perfect Colors.
Have fun and experiment with cheap, colorful frames. Neon sunglasses are a huge trend for summer 2009, so I recommend having some fun and trying the trend out with some inexpensive frames. Sometimes it's fun to wear ridiculously bright, cheap sunglasses. Keep the rest of your outfit simple & classy but go wild with your shades for a look that's very modern and right-now.

Does wearing black clothing in the sun better than color clothing, i.e. softball??

No. Black will be much warmer than white or a light colour. Black absorbs heat, white reflects it, so it is much cooler to wear white in the sun.

How sun effect our eyes?

When your eyes begin to tear or squint due to bright outdoor light, your eyes are creating a natural defense against UV ray, which are harmful and can affect the eyes. Even if you wear sunglasses on every sunny day, you still may not be doing enough to protect your eyes from those dangerous rays. After years of going unprotected, your eyes will eventually break down and disease may be inevitable. In order to prevent diseases from affecting your eyes, you must wear sunglasses that are at least UV400, and keep your eyes shaded as much as possible.

Tips on how to shop for women sunglasses

. How-To Article List:

* Great Reasons To Wear Sunglasses
* How Sunglasses Became Popular
* How to Get Deals on Sunglasses
* How to Shop For Women's Sunglasses
* How to Shop For Men's Sunglasses
* Styles of Sunglasses to Choose From
* The Best Shaped Sunglasses For Your Face
* Wearing Sunglasses in the Fall and Winter Seasons
* Wearing Sunglasses in the Spring and Summer Seasons
* What Are Polarized Sunglasses?

How to Shop for Women's Sunglasses

Women's accessories are a very large business. When most people think of accessories, they think of necklaces or hand bags. An oft overlooked accessory that can really improve your overall look is women's sunglasses. If you can only make one purchase, it's a good idea to look for some great women's sunglasses. Whether it's the height of summer or deep in the heart of winter, you can still use these great accessories.

When you're shopping for women's sunglasses, there are some things that you need to keep in mind. First of all, sunglasses are gendered. You can find them in women's, men's and unisex. Manufacturers separate them in this way because of the differences in trends and face shapes between men and women. Because of this, you should stick to women's or unisex sunglasses. This way, you'll be sure that what you're getting will look good on your face.

Another aspect that you need to worry about when looking for shades is the price. Many ladies want designer women's sunglasses but don't realize their cost. Since some of the best artists in the world work on these glasses, they have a style that you can't normally find in cheap women's sunglasses. They also use better materials and construction, which affects the price as well. If you can afford it though, designer sunglasses are well worth the price. Try Dolce&Gabbana, Gucci or Chanel.

You can get these designers for less money, though. You just need to know where to look. Discount women's sunglasses can save you a lot, but they don't usually come around every day. Designers and designer retailers will hold sales about twice each year; once in spring and once in fall. This is a good time to buy your glasses as they'll be at a drastically reduced price. If you don't have time or inclination to wait, you can get discount designer sunglasses at outlet malls as well. Many women end up saving a lot of money with this route.
If you'd like to save even more money, you could always get designer replica sunglasses. These shades look just like your favorite designer's styles, but an outside company makes them. That means that they look the same but cost much less. You can often find these for more than 50% off the original price. Just make sure that you work with a good replica company and aren't getting something that will break the very next day.

How can I know which sungalsses will fit each type of sport activity?

In tennis, softball and baseball, tinted lenses can help you see the rotation of the ball more clearly so you can make better contact with your racquet or bat.
For biking, sunglasses with the appropriate lenses may help you see better down the road or trail for a safer ride, especially when traveling downhill at high speeds.
