Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines

Open Question

Hi! my Delonghi ESAM 4000/4200 model Infuser got stuck at down position while the Power was still ON. I couldnt remove the infuser even with power OFF. The Drip tray with Cup tray couldnt be inserted back because the infuser is blocking its slot. Did power reset but to no avail. Already cleaned coffee granules in infuser path. Anything I can do more to reset the machine back to normal position? I still couldnt find any service center here in Manila... :( thanks

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: The infuser is low and

Hi,

According to your problem, first turn the appliance off by pressing the button but do not unplug and wait for the display to go off; open the service door. Remove the grounds container. Press the two red release buttons on the infuser sideways and towards the centre and pull the infuser out, but remember the infuser can only be removed when the appliances is off. Then insert the drip tray first. After place the drip tray replace the infuser by sliding it onto the supports and pin at the bottom, then push the PUSH symbol fully in until it clicks into place.

Switch the machine off, AND pull the plug, wait 5 minutes (to be sure) and turn it on. Then turn it off again, now the infuser should return to it's normal position where you can take it out.
If the descale button is still flashing, try descaling again. Was the procedure interupted before? That would be a reason the light keeps flashing.

Infuser jammed in ESAM 5600 cannot get it out

Obvious question really, but is the power turned off? You cannot get the infuser out if the power is on. Or has it been reinserted recently, and incorrectly? The only time I have known of issues getting them out is if the power is on, or if the power went out when it was not parked, in which case turn the power back on it, let it go through the warm up cycle, then turn it off again, let it shut down, then remove the infuser

Hello i have an Delonghi esam 4200 and the infuser got stuck can you please recommend how can i solve it

I had this problem until I realised that you need to switch the machine off by pressing the on/off button on the front of the machine first *before* switching it off at the back and unplugging it. This moves the infuser unit further to the bottom and then allows you to take it out.

Delonghi magnifica coffee machine...infuser jammed in machine. Needs to come out for cleaning. Can depress red buttons but it wont come out..looks a but squint

Remove base plate and turn pulley clockwise (probably for several minutes) until infuser arm returns to vertical position and the infuser itself drops to the low position. You should here a click when it reaches this point. The infuser can then be removed as normal.

DeLonghi Magnifica always asks "Insert Infuser Assembly"

on my machine, the two screws that attach the infuser receptacle to the insides of the machine came loose. You can see those two stainless hex socket screws when you remove the infuser by grabbing its two red tabs and pulling it out. Just use a hex shaft
screwdriver (size 3mm or thereabout) to tighten them.
