Easy Notebook P701, 7'' screen. I can connect to my modem, but I can't get online. Message: Cannot find server or DNS error.

Open the network protocol ..and take a look on the support ..and see if any servers are allocated...if there are not ..it is either a matter of drivers for the network card ..or the provider has a temporary issue with the connection ...The servers on the modems can be manually inserted if you get into the browser ..and type the http://ip of the modem ...and hit enter..
the modem's IP address is written on the label ...This way you will be directed to the modem's settings and if you know the server you can manually insert it ..and save changes..
But I think first you should unplug it from the power source for 30 seconds and plug it again ..and see if it gets the server automatically ...and also call the provider..cause if you use the tcp/ip protocol with assign an IP address automatically ..it means that your lack of connection to the server is the provider's fault ...(you can check it by connecting another computer for a moment and see if it works ..this way you will know that it is a fault of the notebook ..and look for the LAN driver to reinstall ...

The Internet explorer opens with a number in address bar. It doesn't open any other web pages

Check you internet for proxies. On the right side hit tools>internet options.
Then go to the connections tab and hit LAN Settings. If it has anything checked off just uncheck them and hit ok.

Thumbs up me if that helped you!

Yes, I can help you but first you tell me about your internet browser version. If you installing or using internet explorer version 8 then it is very easy to overcome this problem.

First click on tools and then click on internet options.
Now click on settings down for tab
Now choose the option ''open like as your home page" from when the open new tab".

then click on OK and close.

Your problem has been resolved now.

Good Luck

How do I browse the web?

You need to have a connection to the internet. Then you open web 'browser' programs like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla firefox. The browser will open to what is called a "home page" that is usually preset by the browser software. You then can either search for infomation using the search bar, usually located on the top portion of the home page, or you can put a web address in the address bar on the very top of the browser, to go to the website page you want.

This is very general information. There is much more that can be discussed on the topic of browsing the web. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

I want to set Google as my primary search engine.

From Internet Explorer
First open google.com on your internet browser then go to "Tools" at the menu of your Internet Browser. Here you will see "Internet Options". Click it, it will show you your current home page URL written down. Choose "use current" from the options and click on apply.
Google Chrome
Click the Tools menu in the browser. Select Options. Click the Basics tab. Select Google from the 'Default search' drop-down menu. Click the Close button.
from registry
Run regedit from your run menu and find this key :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
and find Search Page value and change it to google like this :
"Search Page"="http://www.google.com" "Search Bar"="http://www.google.com/ie"
Hope it helps if so do rate the solution

Tool bar for computer gone how do i find tool bars in my computer

"FILE, EDIT or VIEW" options on the top.

  1. Open Internet Explorer, and make sure that it is running properly. If you receive any error messages upon opening it, your best bet is to reinstall Explorer rather than customize the options as new add-ons have likely caused serious problems. If it runs properly, however, continue to the next step.
  2. Check to see that the menu bar is visible. If the menu bar is missing, you will have to make it reappear. Right-click anywhere below the "Title Bar" (the bar which shows the Internet Explorer icon and the name of the current website) and any other visible menu bars. Then be sure that the "Menu Bar" has a check mark beside it on the window that appears. Click "Menu Bar" if there is no check.
  3. Click on "View" in the menu bar. Then click on "Toolbars" from that menu. This will bring up a list of available tool bars. To make the one you want appear, simply click its name, making sure that a check appears next to the name.
  4. Restart Internet Explorer. Some toolbars will reappear immediately. Others require a restart. But restart the application anyway to make sure that your new preferences are saved.
  5. Reinstall any extra toolbar applications if they do not appear in the Toolbar menu.
Please try this and see if anything help's.

404 problem

As the name mentions, error code 404 means that the
1. address that you are trying to access does not exist. First u need to make sure that you are typing the correct URL in the address bar of the Internet Explorer (or any other browser). If you are sure that the url you have typed is correct, then you can check it from any other location (a cybercafe, friend's pc etc.).
2. It may also happen that the site you are trying to access may currently be on maintenance so , the web page will usually not be accessible.
3. If you are accessing the URL from bookmarks, it may not load properly as pages that require user login will expire after some time.
4.You could also try an alternate web browser (Internet explorer 9,mozilla firefox, opera, chrome etc).
Now, try to open the big fish games website from here.

(As Internet Explorer 7 has known issues regarding opening some websites, i suggest you to switch to a different browser)

all the best.
