Yes they do. You simply need to plug them in to charge them. The one below runs for about 80 minutes.,default,pd.html?start=5&cgid=rapala-knives-electric

Where do I find the electric carving knife by toastmaster have used for a long time and now can't find anywhere

I've never heard of the "Nil" part, but the best place to find these older model appliances is on Ebay. I typically hate buying on Ebay, but these older model electric knives are no longer made and hard to come by elsewhere.
I found one where the seller has very good feedback ratings, and the price is about $24 total shipped. Here is a link below, if you decide to go that route. Hope this helps.

How much should I spend on an electric knife?

I've seen electric knives as low as $12 but I recommend paying between about $30-$50. More important than the money is a good brandname with a warranty. Electric knives have a tendency to break with wash and wear so make sure to get a warranty.

The damage is not to the phone line it is to the phones. Unfortunately this is very common with powered phones as they are almost never kept on surge protectors and are very fragile. You will need to purchase a new base station to use with existing phones.

I have a penn state super 125 surface planer and am having trouble finding blades for it. can you get me a cross reference number. please and thank you

I can't find the cross reference you seek, and am wondering if Penn State no longer makes or supports this planer. (Here's one archived review from 1996.) However, any reputable sharpening shop should be able to provide you with tool steel or carbide planer knives, or resharpen your existing knives. If the knives have specialized holes for mounting, etc, there may be a surcharge for drilling the steel to fit your planer, but I suspect with the economy the way it is most sharpening shops will be happy to undertake the task. If they balk, find someone who's qualified before you spend the money on new knives. What is important is the the thickness of the tool steel is comparable with your knives and the width is within the specs of adjustment for your planer. Usually normal tool steel will get sharper. whereas carbide is tougher to wear out.
If you can't find anyone local, I can wholeheartedly recommend Precision Sharpening in Albuquerque, N.M. They have quality grinders and do professional work.
If your knives are of the disposable type and your can't locate a substitute, try contacting Penn State Industries here.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Will I be able to have my trimmer blade sharpened?

The blade can be sharpened, the problem is that these are not sharpened to ofter. Finding a person to do it will be.....difficult. I would suggest finding a knive or scissors sharpener, they would be able to handle this.

Hope this helps

Looking for blades for a 6 inch craftsman Jointer/planer. Model number 103 2066. Manufactured by King Seely. Sears Roebuck do not have but I am wondering if there is are generic blades that will fit. (I...

Most reliable sharpening services will be able to grind knives for your jointer that will work just fine. The key is to match the existing knives as far as thickness (guage) and height of the new knives. You want them to give you maximum life but not extend too far past the cutterhead when adjusted all the way down. I don't know about your machine, but on an 8" powermatic the tip of the knife shouldn't extend more than about .0012" above the circumference of the cutterhead. You can check this with a set of calipers and give the height to the sharpener, then just choose high speed steel or carbide and you're on your way.
If you check the overall length of the knives, sometimes they are slightly under the nominal length, and a 6" long knife could bump into the housing as the cutterhead rotates, so this is one other thing to check before you go ahead and order them 6" long.
But the short answer is, no problem. Just get a reliable sharpener to make them for you, buy a quality steel blank, and have him put a fine grit polish or hone on the knives when he sharpens them...

No electrical outlet available for the base station (wall mounted)

most cordless phones need some access to 120 volt power to recharge the internal NiCad batteries. It wouldn't be cost effective to have on hand a bunch of charged batteries that you'd replace on a daily basis. they got to be charged up eventually.
