Black border down the right side of the page, which blocks info
Faxes we receive are fine. Faxes we send are the problem. When we get the confirmation page, we see the black border running down the right side, the length of the page. The folks who are receiving our faxes let us know that the information on the right side of the page can not be seen. Fortunately, we do have a copier which has the fax ability so we go use that.

Blocked print head nozzles Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent blocked print head nozzles. You may have blocked print head nozzles. Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles. After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required. Also try - Removing the print head, run it under hot water for 2 mins, then let soak for 10 min. then used a can of compressed air to dry thoroughly. It may fix the blocked nozzles. A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase a new printer.
The received fax is clean but when you send one out it has a black streak on it. Cool! So far so good. Makes sense because for sending, the fax scans the original document and parts of the scanning area could be dirty and so on. Therefore a black streak may appear. The same black streak would also appear when you make a copy, because the original document must also be scanned. Logical!
However for receiving faxes, the machine uses the internal memory and the print engine only, and the same applies to printing the transaction report, which comes from inside via the print engine. The scanner has no rol in either situation.
