As i understand it - pants are more informal wear such as jeans and slacks are smarter trousers/ pants that can be worn with a dress shirt or to work etc.

Pant and slakes are very different from each other, slakes are comfortable then pants. Slakes are generally wear by women only while pants are wore by both. Slacks are casual trousers which you can wear while going to office or for shopping, it can't wear with suits and tie. Whereas the paint can casual or former, it can be wore by both men and women.

The say to dry clean only. Can you wash them?

When a Fabric Tag indicates exactly How the garment is to be cleaned, then that is the correct way. To try and Wash a garment that should be dry cleaned-is to have the Fabric tear apart at the seams, and Rip into different frayed sections-with spotted dyed parts showing.Always follow the directions on your Fabric Tags!

In the pictures of the these pants have pleats down the front of the pant leg, are these pleats sewn in or are they just an ironed crease?

The pleat is not sewn in. When I first bought these pants they came with the crease down the leg, but after washing them and steaming the pleat wore out.

Australia is known to differentiate between pants and trousers. shorts are similar to trousers, but with legs that come down only to around the area of the knee, higher or lower than the knee depending on the style of the garment. (wikipedia)

Are pants tighter when you first buy them?

Yes new pants are usually tighter and they will stretch out when you wear them. I usually find that they return to their normal size once they've been washed but over time they do tend to stretch.

Black ink spill to my pants,.how can i remove the ink?so that i can still use my pants..

Hi from FixYa,

Sorry but this forum is to assist people in diagnosing problems and faults in washing machines rather than how to remove stains from clothes. Have a look at the label to see if that might help- and it depends on the colour of the pants. Otherwise I fear that the pants may have to be consigned to the bin ;-0(

What fit is this type of snowboard pants?

Call me crazy but most Snowboard pants as of yet don't have a separate "fit". That means you won't have any described as"loose", "baggy" "straight leg" etc. What you have instead is that snowboarding pants are made w/ space and flex @ the knees and are wide enough for boots @ the ends. Any adjustment to "fit would have to made in choosing what size you planned on wearing. Hence if you wanted em "baggy" get em bigger etc...

Difference between Audi A6 1.8t engine and 1.8 engine

It makes a big difference in acceleration. When the turbo spools up you will feel it in the seat of your pants. The turbo force feeds the engine air. More air means the engine can burn more fuel and more fuel means more POWER!!
