I have a model 35002 triple torch Colibri gear lighter and I need instructions on how to refill it with butane.

There is a small nipple on the bottom of the lighter. That is where you put the canister on to refill.

I have a dunhill lighter pat. #3910750 des. pat. #235456. When I fill it with butane, it leaks out of the top of the lighter. What is causing this?

Sounds like the valve that regulates the gas flow is sticking in the open position even when the lighter is not in use. Try spraying a light machine oil like WD40 on the gas jet aperture and any other moving part whilst your at it. Wipe excess oil from the lighter and leave for several minutes for the oil solvents to evaporate. Light the lighter a few times in rapid succession to enable the oil to penetrate. If the oils done it's job the gas should no longer leak.

Colibri cx gear 35002 butane lighter

I.ve got a lighter its silver crome alluminum it reads on both sides a big X with a c on top and us on bottom its butane on the bottom it has a signiture I.D it looks like a snake going up a stick can you help me idenify this lighter it's driving me nuts Thank You Lily

I have a gold Dunhill lighter which belonged to my partner who passed away a few years ago. Whilst he was still alive I sent the lighter away to be cleaned etc, the shop I sent it through has now closed...

If you go to their web site http://www.dunhill.com/en-cn/catalogue/lighters/ at the bottom of the page you will see find a service center and find a store.

Click on one of these and you should be able to find the information you want.

My colibri lighter does not want to light up. Have bled tank and refilled. Only a small flame appears.

I repair Colibri lighters and many other brands and models.
I repair all butane lighters including the beam sensor and touch sensor models.

Fixing a dunhill lighter with a small leak, can I pack this or do I need to take this in to a shop? many thanks, Jayson

I have a Dunhill Rollalite petro lighter and the wick is barely protruding out of the nipple / port. Everything thing I've read states to use tweezers to extend it but how is it done when there's nothing to crab? Are the wick replaceable and if so how is it done port how to extend it? Thanks

I suggest that you go to the Dunhill web site (www.dunhill.com) and go to the bottom of the page where you will see a menu in small type.

Click on "contact" and you can choose the nearest center. They should be able to answer your question.

Dunhill cigarette lighter spare parts needed

Hi, Dan, I have 2 Dunhill ighters that work but they leak butane. Making them unfit for use. I would like to have them repaired/rebuilt. I believe they are 1960-70's vintage so, the lack of parts will definately be an issue here. Please advise. Thanks Glenn [email protected]

All rechargeable lighters have a refilling nozzle (usually at the bottom of lighter).
All the good quality gas refill cans have the nozzle adapters inside sovering cup.
Brake off the nozzle adapters off the cup and try to fit them onto lighters refilling nozzle.
When found the best fit adapter, put it onto gas refill cans nozzle and holding the lighter and can upside down connect all nozzles together and push together.
As these nozzles are made for mass production lighters, tey do not fit perfect and some gas leak will occure.
Anyway- few seconds will be enough to refill any lighter.
In case if your lighter do not refill by explained action, the refill nozzle in your lighter is damaged or faulty.
