I see that others have had a similar problem with other multi-functions. We have a Ricoh Aficio 1022/1027 copier/fax. How do I cancel the "Transmission Result Report" from printing after each outgoing fax. Like the others, I would like to continue to receive a report if the fax was not sent successfully, but not for every fax.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

This is a somewhat complicated change. You must change the user parameter "switch" to turn the automatic printing of the transmission result report off. If you have your Facsimile Reference Manual "Advanced Features" then just go to the user parameters section and go thru the steps. If you do not have your manual you can download for free here. http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/manuals/bw/aficio1515/
Be sure to get the advanced features facsimile manual.
Sorry for the referral to a manual but you will see what I mean, it is just too much stuff to type here and the manual has pictures of the display as you go.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
There is a setting to adjust the fax volume. Press the User Tools button on the operation panel, and then on the touch screen press either Fax Features or Fax Settings, and then under the first tab (I think it's General Settings) there should be an option for volume adjustment. You can either turn the volume down or you can turn it all the way off.
1) Press <Menu> 2) Press Up or Down <Arrow key> to select "Fax" 3) Press <OK> 4) Press Up or Down <Arrow key> to select "Report Setting" 5) Press <OK> 6) Press Up or Down <Arrow key> to select "Transmission" or "XMIT Report" 7) Press <OK> 8) Press Up or Down <Arrow key> until the option you prefer appears:
OFF - Transmission verification report will print only if a fax is unsuccessful
OFF+IMAGE - Transmission verification report will print if a fax is unsuccessful with a portion of the fax first page
ON - Transmission verification report will print after every fax transmission
ON+IMAGE - Transmission verification report will print after every fax transmission with a portion of the fax first page
Try sending a test sheet using "hook" to a known good fax if it goes the fax is fine (it wont leave the doc feed till its coming out on the rx. fax.) If this works then maybe the speaker is bad or disconnected. As for the report you need to chance the transmission report to off or error.
-Carl, please let me know if this helps.
The fax log or Journal is printed automatically after every 50 communications (tansmissions and receptions). If you want to print a copy of the journal;
Select Fax mode and press <Information> icon on the upper right corner of the touch panel.
Press <Print Journal>
An error report is printed whenever the transmission or reception has failed.
If Transmission result report is on, a report is printed every time so you have a record of whether it was successful or not.
