Question about MSI RG54G2 Router (MS-6848-002)
Home network: WRTG54 Linksys
Secure: WEP key
I have inputted the WEP key, the ipod is telling me that I am connected but when I try to open the browser, itunes or stocks, it tells me that I am not connected to the internet. Apple customer service troubleshooted with me and told me to send it back. I did and they are now telling me everything works well. Still can't connect to my network. What am I not doing???
You need to talk to your isp people you also need to put youe isp no into the i pod because it is wireless they sometimes have certain codes you need to put in when I bought my wife hers we had to tell it it was on bell wireless and give it the key id no your internet provider should be able to help you they helped me I also was told by bell though I was not aware of it that it was working fine from their end they could read it as connected to their service...good luck

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Sounds like an I.P. problem. If set to "Dynamic", try "Static" IP. Had a similar problem with my Linksys wireless camera. It worked...than it didn't. Sounds eerily similar.
